Harvey Nichols

I absolutely love this advert, even if it is just for the cute little puppies! :D

X Factor

As I haven't done a post in a little while I have decided to give you a double whammy on X Factor outfits! Right, let's start with Saturday night, Cheryl wore this cutesy little white dress designed by Stéphane Rolland. I'm in two minds about this dress, I can't decide whether there's too much fabric and it drowns her tiny little frame or if she can pull off because she is so tiny, she just looks more of a normal size :S. Anyways, onto Dannii's Saturday night dress by Aurelio Costarella, what can I say it's simple but elegant, exactly what I expect from Dannii. On to Sunday night, and Cheryl wears this stunning black and lace dress with a funky hem, I really do like this dress, however, when she was walking across the stage she was having trouble with the train of the dress, not the most practical dress in the world. On the other hand Dannii finally went a bit daring with her outfits and didn't look as mumsy as usual. I thought this dress was stunning, still classy and elegant but had that little bit extra sex appeal which I definitely think she needed seeing as she sits next to Cheryl Cole every week.

Blake Lively

I am going to take this opportunity to say how much I like Blake Lively and her style. Whenever I see her in a magazine she always looks really nice, above is a few of my favourite outfits of hers!

X Factor

X Factor outfits time! Cheryl wore this cute embellished dress which I think is nice, even though the sleeve is a little long for her and I think it doesn't fit her quite right, I know it is meant to be a tight dress but when it's ruching around her hips like that, I think it looks like it is a little too tight. Dannii wore this long flowing red gown, which is extremely similar to a white dress she wore a few weeks back, the dress is nice but I wish she would wear something a little bit different and maybe a little more exciting!

American Music Awards

The stars all stepped out last night to attend the American Music Awards and here is my verdict on the best (and one of the worst) dresses of the night! First up, Katy Perry (or do we call her Katy Brand now?) in this cute Brian Atwood dress, I really like this very girly and glamorous look on her much better than her kooky 'everyone look at me' dresses.  Next up, Rihanna, I really love this Elie Saab Haute Couture dress she is wearing, but, again, isn't this dress a little over the top? And her red hair just blends in with it all which looks a little bit odd to me, maybe red wasn't the best colour of dress for her. Lastly but by no means least is Kesha, I really don't know what possessed her to wear a bin bag accessorised with more bin bag dangly bits, seriously, when is this girl going to get a stylist (and a half decent one) so she doesn't look like a complete mess!!

Katie's hair?

How could I write about X Factor and not write about Katie's new hairdo! I think this was a silly mistake for her, I agree with what Dannii said (which is unusual) that she keeps saying she's showing the real her but each week it seems to be a different person, no wonder the public is confused and want her off the show! Although I think this haircut looks a lot better than her enormous roots, I think last night she looked quite normal and a bit boring. I've said it from the beginning she should give up on the singing because it seriously is not going to happen and become a MODEL!

X Factor

X Factor outfits verdict time! I think both Cheryl and Dannii looked really nice last night, however, for me, Cheryl looked just that little bit better. Dannii always looks nice but for me a little bit boring too, I would love to see her wear something a little bit more exciting, or something with a little bit more detail on it. I absolutely love the dress Cheryl wore, I thought it was perfect for her, the embellishment detail is just amazing and the feathers on the cuffs and skirt look fabulous!

Topshop Limited Edition Dresses

Just popped onto the Topshop website and came across a new collection of limited edition dresses. I must say some are really nice but with the prices ranging from £130 to £300 I think they are very expensive! I can't help feeling they are launching this off the back of the last Kate Moss collection as that had a few limited edition items which I'm guessing sold quite well. Also, a lot of the designs I feel look like they should be in the Kate Moss collection, maybe if they were it would justify the price a little more. My favourites, I have included above, this little grey dress I think is really cute and would be great for a night out, the dark grey draped dress is beautiful but I feel I have seen re-incarnations of these before in Lipsy at a much cheaper price. The white sequined dress is a stand-out piece and is beautiful, heavy embellishment always look amazing!!

Chau Har Lee

I was flicking through Look magazine the other day and stumbled across these AMAZING shoes! They are designed by London based Chau Har Lee and I absolutely love them! I know they are not the most practical of shoe but come on you wouldn't have to wear them, they could just sit on display like a piece of art... In my eyes that is exactly what they are; pieces of modern art! Lady Gaga eat your heart out! :P

The Official Ralph Lauren 4D Experience

As promised to Josh, the Ralph Lauren 4D experience, definitely a need to see, it is pretty cool! :D

X Factor

XFactor outfit verdict time and I only have one word: PERFECTION! Cheryl wore a Roberto Cavalli dress (you can't really go wrong with Cavalli) that is just beautiful, for me less is always more. Dannii wore a Carla Zampatti dress which again is extremely simplistic but sophisticated, I can't help thinking it looks a little like a bed sheet though, maybe a more cream or beigey colour would have been better.

Harry Potter Premiere

Now, I'm not a major Harry Potter geek but I do quite enjoy the films and obviously seeing what the stars wear to the premieres! I absolutely love this outfit by Rafael Lopez that Emma Watson is wearing, I think it is fun and sexy. Also, l really like her new short hair cut, I think she looks a lot older and more mature, I think she's definitely showing the world that she is a woman now!

H&M Partywear

Just having a look on H&M online and they have quite a few really nice dresses for the festive season! These are two of my favourites and priced at £29.99 I think they are very reasonable! The green dress is my favourite, I love ruching and draping like this, I think it looks so effortlessly stylish! The detailed white dress is one both me and my flatmate liked, for the record it looks a lot better on the model in the picture on the website. I really like this simplistic silhouette with all the stud/sequin detailing. With either of these I think you could be the best dressed at the Christmas party!

Shearling Jacket

One of the biggest trends this winter is the shearling jacket/aviator jacket, whatever you want to call it! Fur has been everywhere, from jackets to shoes to bags, I think this trend will be short lived, however, I found this beautiful jacket from All Saints, a lot of the jackets I've seen on the high street I've not been too fussed about but this one I think is just perfect! Mind you, at £495 I wouldn't expect any less! If someone would like to buy me one, it would be much appreciated! :P

EMA's

Last night was the Europe Music Awards and here is my verdict on the best and worst dressed of the night. First off Katy Perry wearing a Jeremy Scott dress: this isn't something I would personally wear but I think Katy pulls it off well, I think its still quite red carpet but with her funky twist on it. Secondly, Rihanna is this stunning Marchesa gown: in my opinion I think it is a bit much for the EMA's, the Oscars would have been much better, apart from this I can't really fault it as it is a beautiful dress. Last but by no means least is Taylor Momsen, I have to say that I really do not like her style, I know she's trying to be this gothic rock chick but seriously you don't have to wear hardly any clothes to do this. When you take into consideration that she is only 17 :O it just seem so much more inappropriate for her to be dressing like this, I don't think she realises her following is probably quite young due to her being in Gossip Girl. I would love to see her without her underwear on show for once!

XFactor

Right, Danni and Cheryl's dresses, Danni wore a Philip Armstrong dress, which is quite nice but I think the bow over the chest is a little overpowering and I think next to Cheryl in her revealing dress she looks quite mumsy and conservative, I definitely think she could turn up the sex appeal without looking slutty. Cheryl wore a Pucci dress, overall, this season I think she has looked quite nice but I think this outfit is the wrong side of sexy. It is hitched up very high, and I know she has the body to pull it off, but I just think there is a little too much flesh on show. In my opinion it looks more like a nighty than a dress! I don't think either Danni or Cheryl looks better this week as they look completely different!

BAFTA's

Here are some of my favourite dresses from the BAFTA's, I love this piece Rosario Dawson is wearing, it is very classicly elegant (I always think detailed draping like this looks fabulous!) The red show stopper that Izabella Miko is wearing is just that: a show stopper, I can't help thinking it didn't need the large ruffle on her chest though, I think with all the detail of the skirt the top would have looked just fine a lot more simple. Last but not least this cute little sequined dress that Kirsten Lea is wearing, I think it is just perfect, even though it is short with the high neckline and longer sleeve it stays very classy, with such a simple sihouette you can't go wrong with a bit of bling bling!

Kate Moss & Topshop

It's the last ever collection by Kate Moss for Topshop, and to be honest, I don't really think it's that different to what she has done before in previous collections. These are a few the pieces that I think are the best, even though they are quite expensive (£120 for the black dress, £180 for the jacket and £400 for the Limited Edition sequinned gown). I think what the team of designers have tried to do is to create items that truly sum up what Kate Moss is about and with the limited edition pieces ranging from £30, for a ring, and £400 for the dress above, I'm sure it will be extremely popular with people who want those stand out items and to say that they were from the last ever Kate Moss collection.

Lanvin/H&M

I'm getting a little excited about blogging now so I'm giving you a double whammy! Just having a look at the collaboration between Lanvin and H&M, this seemed like a great idea but I have to say I think some of the dresses are a little pricey, they are very nice don't get me wrong but with the main bulk of H&M shoppers being students, I can't see them dropping around £100 for a dress like the one above (I personally don't think it's that special and I think you could get better elsewhere for that price). Also, this skirt is £59.99 and I don't think it's that different, I'm sure I have seen re-incarnations of this skirt in River Island for about half this price. Overall, yes there are some lovely pieces in this collection and I know people will buy into it because it is Lanvin but I'm afraid I will not be purchasing from this collection, I think I would feel too guilty about spending that much money on one item, Lanvin or not!

Sexy Boots

WOW! Is pretty much all I can say about these beauties from River Island. I know they are not the most practical shoe and not the cheapest at £140 but look at them they are pretty cool, imagine going on a night out in them, you would feel amazing! They also have a couple of pairs of peep toe shoe boots, one pair covered in gems the other in sequins which are more reasonably priced at around £70 but they are no match to these!

The first!

Ok, this is my first post ever on my first ever blog so here we go. I wasn't too sure what to write about so I've decided to post something everyday (hopefully) about an item of clothing or an accessory I have seen that I think I should talk about, something that provokes a reaction from me, and almost certainly a good one!
